Is it as simple as taking the roof off the ute and putting the roof of a van on top? Or would it be easier to swap the whole ute body off the chassis and replacing it with a van body?
1) yep... Sabre saw and a spot weld cutter, then have at it.... I've cut van roofs off and put a ute roof on which wasn't that hard, second one was easy. However doing it the other way around would be a bit more difficult, mainly keeping the van roof and side panels straight and aligned.... Use lots of bracing.
2) Much easier.... Problem is finding the correct body.. IE manufacturing plant.... and a lot of people don't condone body swaps....
