why did i do this now???

3 weeks from the all holden day and i finally decided to remove the blue bits from the wb caprice van and redo it all in black.the trim is all black leather and carpet but the former owner smokes too much gunja and thought that this would look good..NOT..:sick:..loved the van so much i bought it but always hated the blue dash and rooflining..found with the roof lining that the blue was stuck on over the red which was stuck to the original roof lining.im keeping the blue lion logos in the door trims as they match the blue stitching in the seats...and the blue diff and fuel tank...now its stripped i have to paint all the blue trim bits black and get the roof lining done and get it all back together within 3 weeks..shouldnt be a problem...:eek:... i hope..and ive taken pics to do some more tech articles from...:Hair:

well i am up to this bit now...all stripped....:eek:...i had to cut the glove box to remove the spark control unit as i did not want to screw with the wiring...
looks messy but the wiring is quite neat..the pic of the heater box with the door is where he had the alarm/central locking and popcorn maker mounted..need to re mount that as a heater is a good idea for us oldies..new hoodlining is being made and this weekend pending any crap that may enter my life....

.. the moon and stars should align for some painting of dash and vinyl bits.....
