My HJ Ute Buildup 2007 012 small.jpgNo, now you've confused "classy" with "cool".
That's how I'm doing the interior in my "Rat" ute.... just whatever I've got laying around. Still undecided if the 2 bucket seats should match or not.

Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
I'm keeping my bench seat but I am going to take the colour code in and see what the colour should be and see if I like it or the nice brown like my goor trims
I have a great bench seat, but I just can't handle the lack of adjustability with them. I like the squab laying back a bit and the bench just makes me feel like I'm sitting too upright. Plus, mine's a 4 speed with a short shifter, so the bench would be in the way and it's too nice to cut a section out of.

Bench seats have there benifets expecually where lady's are involved what colour you painting your ute
I was going to paint it silver, but I'm going to use the GTS guards and doors on my van when I respray it, then put the white guards and doors on the ute so I may paint it white, or leave it undercoat/rough. We'll see.....

Was told today at the swap meet its going to cost me at least 2k to get my mags re cromed and re powder coated does that sound about right.
Probably. If there's 2 completely different processes to go through, then it's bound to be fiddly and time consuming. Usually when they do either of those things they just do the whole piece which makes it significantly less complicated. I assume they'd have to chrome the outer ring first, then you'd need to sandblast the centres to prep, mask off the ring and powdercoat. Even then, there might only be a handful of powdercoaters willing to tackle that sort of job.
I saw 2 sets at the swap yesterday restored $800 and another set for $1200 which included wheel nuts.
