    1981 actually, they co hosted Agro's cartoon conection in 1985 then went to Neighbors in 1990.

    Coming in a bit late to this conversation so hope i don't repeat something. I fondly remember Freeza flavoured ice blocks, my Commodore 64 computer (with tape drive) and an ABC TV show called Sweet and Sour about a pop group called The Takeaways.

    Is it just me or did we have better TV programs back in the 70s than we do today.

    Today we have 20+ free-to-air channels & dozens of Foxtel channels & sometimes there really is just nothing worth watching.

    I'm sure it's not 'rose-coloured glasses' either, I understand some of Foxtel's top-rating shows are the older ones we all took for granted back then.
