HX Chassis Number

I got given an HX ute a couple of months ago and only just checked the numbers.

It's not a sandman but I found the chassis number interesting, AHX00001B.

Does the number 1 mean this was the first chassis in that series?

It means it is the first HX chassis off the Brisbane production line.
