You'll have to go and inspect it. Headlining attachments will all but give it up, console brackets will be the clincher.

I just wanted to give this chap a round of applause.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HJ-Panelv...item3aa8a5c44e

15 months on E Bay and he is still punching away!

From $45000 to $17000 which I still believe is wildly overpriced and so must everyone else and its kind of pertinent to another thread on the forum just started by Vombil regarding retagging vehicles.

You can retag all you like BUT like HK said, all depends on the quality, or that's how I read what he said at least lol.

    Dreamhippos is right.

Not quite what I meant in that thread, no so much quality but your purpose for purchasing the car. I was getting at buying a car as a modified where it makes bugger all difference if it even has tags or if the tags are original to the body. At the Nats I noticed both Street legal and Storm Bringer have mismatching tags on them, if you were to decide to buy one of these would you care? Same with any modified Street car, a really nice HK Monaro done up far from original - it seems to matter not if the tags show it as a Monaro or GTS or even if the tags belong to the shell - people buy them as they are cool.

Exactly, my blown SL/R has only the centre tag, but (while the price needs to be a bit cheaper) someone will buy it because it suits their needs. A lot of "Event vehicles" that are never registered and only go to Supernats, or burnout events and the like don't need tags so it's no big deal for them. It only becomes and issue when you are trying to register a car or sell it for road use.

Anyone sticking "upgrade" tags on a lesser model to sell it are just thieves.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
