    an XA ute i dragged out of the dump on my grandparents property. Then a 253 LH torana that my dad uncle and i built.

    My first ever car was going to be a hz ute but didn't have enough money ,(still the same now)the bloke had a hq panelvan that was sad but straight and he gave me that for a $100 ,started sanding it down , never finished it and found a hq ute , much better I thought .it came a heap of new bits and all new rubbers so started on it bought a 253 n 4speed from a mate put it in and drove it on a drum and no front panels straight out of the extractors cool then got offered the ute I got the eng from painted it then had it until for my first regoed n finished car will try and find a photo then try and put it up

    hr, hell raiser painted it maroon big chromies prem interior chrome console 186 4 spd was good for about 100 mile per hr not the quickest but looked tough

    A t600 kenworth with a 350 two stroke gm under it never drove a car till I was nearly 18

    a hj windowless panelvan that was soooo rusty , it made reverse parallel parking pretty darn hard but tought me how to drive pretty good . 3 on the tree that always got stuck in second also got me pretty good at a manual lol

    In mid 80's was in parents VK Calias 308, then first car was a LX torana 253 - that one is still in the family

    Leyland P76 >>> it was a V8, & yes a 44 gallon drum did fit in the back
