    1963 short wheel base land drover and 1968 Dodge ute, 3 on tree, when 7/8 years old. First card 1978 Sunbird, got license in it.

    1962 ej windowless van big block 138 grey 3 sp crash box failed my licence first up cause i couldnt steer it in a straight line and yes i was sober got it 2nd go in my mates hq stato

    Imagine turning up in it for the test nowadays....
    They'd defect it and fail you before you drove it.

    Thanks, it has 102,000 miles on the odometer and either my Mum, Dad, me or my Wife have done them all.
    I remember the day we picked it up new (traded - in the EH Premier on it), after school at Pat Cullen's Holden in Liverpool, Sydney.
    I hated it for a long time because I wanted Dad to get a purple XU-1. Love it now though......

    It was a HJ panno. Stocky 253 trimatic floor shift, chamois with side windows and 12 spotters, a little decked out in the back. It was my first car, I bought it when I was 16 and cost $4500 in 1989. Thought it was the 'ducks guts' at the time - got personalised plates JEZ 253.
