It's no different to Dr Terry getting all bent out of shape about the term "Styleside".
It's not Australian and it's WRONG. Bloody missus said "Sidewalk" yesterday....![]()

Pots are about 285ml of beer, schooners are about 350ml I think....not to be confused with the potty![]()
Schooner is 425mL here. Middy is the 285mL glass
What's all this 'ml' bullsh1t ?
A middy is 1/2 pint & a schooner is 3/4 pint.
Although I believe that the 1/2 pint glass is called a schooner in SA, is that right ?

Grrr !!
I don't go there very often, but I ventured over to oldholden.com & the first thing I see is somebody talking about a "well body" ute.
WTF is that & how does it differ from a styleside or a normal ute ?
Dr Terry
Last time i checked Australia has vans utes and one tonners and foot paths
no stylesides no well bodys and no sidewalks
bloody hell
And its a bloody middy or a pint of beer
end of rant
the 285 ml is a 10 ounce beer!! ... The West Australians call it a middy..... but it gets confusing, when I first moved over here and drinking mid strength you had to ask for a middy of mid strength!..
In Tassy it was a 6, 8 or 10 ounce beer (10 oz with or without handle) and a schooner is the big glass 425 ml
