the 285 ml is a 10 ounce beer!! ... The West Australians call it a middy..... but it gets confusing, when I first moved over here and drinking mid strength you had to ask for a middy of mid strength!..
In Tassy it was a 6, 8 or 10 ounce beer (10 oz with or without handle) and a schooner is the big glass 425 ml

in Queensland.... A middy is a 7oz glass and a pot is a 10oz glass.... No schooners back in my Qld drinking days...
