Can't say I've ever heard anyone ask for a pint of beer. If you asked for a middy in QLD you'd probably get the same looks as asking for a pot in NSW or wherever there called that.

I can remember getting a pint of milk in a glass bottle with a foil cap (hang on that's a different thread -remember when....black and white telly, pounds, pennies, etc. who's the oldest and can remember the most)

What about this one - who calls an engine a motor?
