GTS. now that a lot of people know it's up 4 sale it may be an idea to stay on the down low for a bit and quit possibly some one legit will know how to get hold of ya and get fair dinkem![]()
I had 2 "lookers" contact me before and after I took it off. We'll see what happens although I'm not really fussed either way.
What I didn't know was that HJ's never came out with HQ Sandman stripes, that you could not get a HJ with a 308 in it and the steering column was wrong because it didn't have a combo switch......... Dickheads!
i sold a sandman van recently. didnt have any troubles at all. guy paid for it before he'd seen it. I think when you're up into the 20's to 30k mark then all the 'experts' come out of the woodwork.
BQZ
I think it is well known what the Monaro region was named after, and this is where Noel Bedford got the name for the HK coupe (prior to then they I think were going to be HK Kingswood coupe and HK GTS coupe). I don't think there is any definitive actual translation because it wasn't a written language, but Aboriginal people when asked what this area was called they probably said "Monaro", and I guess when prodded for what it meant they said "high land" or "high plain" or "elevated area" or "mountain" or whatever.
