    Chassis is not original to the plates.... plates are Adelaide build and chassis is Brisbane build.

    Is it a ute body or a cut down van body? check for two stamped drain holes on each side of the rear floor under the rear window.... if there are none it is a cut down van.

    Yep. Sadly there has been a swap at some stage.

    body id is AHX01019B
    chassis is AHX16856A

    It'll still make a good replica or daily driver.

    Looks like probably a rare 11/76 Papaya HX Sandman van BODY + VIN tags and chassis number (all match up). The ADR plate isn't the right one though, although all info needed is known so the mob that redoes them could conceivably make one for it. Or just build it up as a van and leave the ADR tag off. Also pretty rare in HX to have a 3.36 diff behind a 253 and 4spd. Normally they are 3.55.
