Hz sandman ute??

Hi all. I have read all the posts trying to find out if the ute I just brought is a genuine sandman. It's ticked a lot of the boxes but I'm still not 100% ready to say "yes it's a sandman"
Here's what I have.
Hz ute
Model: HZ8W M 80 ( with the same gaps)
Body: 413078-A
Trim: 1836-63V
Paint: 567 -30527
Engine: L32
Trans: M20
PR axle: GV4
GVW: 1950kg
Seating cap:2
Vin: 8M80RHL413xxxZ

The ute has a gts interior and gauges, the 3spoke steering wheel with the red lion symbol, coloured coded mirrors, black painted door frames and handles, rts badges on the tailgate and the dash and the sandman decals (they appear to be old and original, but it's hard to say for sure).

Things that are concerning me are:
No glove box, so I can't check the tyre size, and a sunroof ( didn't think they came with one)

Can anyone help me with this?

Sounds like a good candidate for one and ticks a few boxes.... Does it have a quad headlight front? Are there cut outs in the stone tray for airflow to the brakes with a air dam fitted? Does it have courtesy light switches in the door jambs? Steering wheel sounds like an aftermarket Saas wheel if it has a red Lion emblem in the centre. Sunroof is aftermarket fitment.

post up some pics if you can and you will get plenty of opinions.....

Yes it is a Sandman, Paint is 1936 which is Dynasty Gold metallic, not 1836. It is only the second HZ Sandman i've ever known of in that colour. Should be 5/78 compliance. DP you have the chassis for it, should be BHZ18xxxA? or if not high BHZ17xxxA, like BHZ179xxA.

The black door handles are a real good sign. Most fakes overlook that little detail.

Thanks for yen replies guys. Absith; yes it's got the quad lights with the shrouds being black as well. Unfortunately the front stone guard is not on the car. Haven't got the car at my place right now so I'm kinda stuck for anything else's at this stage till I get can to the shed on the weekend, but will try and throw a few photos up tonight. HK1837; your on the money with those numbers. It has the 05-78 on the compliance plate and the chassis is the BHZ18xxxx. She's in rough condition and will unfortunately need a full resto, hence why I wanted to know if it's worth me spending the $$$ and time to get the car back to her former glory.
