Stranger things have happened. How would anyone here feel if their tags were stolen during the restoration process. YOU know full well she's the real deal... You'll swear black, blue and blind that it IS a Sandman, but someone else out there will be saying "likely story, loser"
Maybe it is true. Maybe someone spent good money on a resto and got ripped off. Now they're over it and want it gone? Lack of photos is not a strong seller, but if I bought a car, I'd be seeing it up close in person, not looking at a photo.

    Just my opinion.

Hear ya Dago but I was keeping the thread inline with abs thread intentions- no description and no photos BUT, let me direct you to what the seller did say which I think makes it dubious "lost or stolen in restoration process'. Well, which one is it? Lost? Stolen? Would you remember which one it was?

Speaking from a little bit of experience I went to look at a van in Caboolture a couple of months ago and the tags were gone, I asked the seller and apparently they were stolen, long ago.

I said well you know, how do I know what the story is with this vehicle without them and HEY PRESTO I got a call the next day to say they had magically appeared!

So yes, I am a tad distrustful lmao

Exactly and what else was the seller hiding? You'd have to wonder!

Any genuine seller worth their salt would be more than happy to provide whatever photos/info needed to ensure a sale at their asking price. In this day an age of electronic media it is only too easy to provide detailed (a decent size and in focus is also a winner!) photographic information for a prospective buyer. Life has come a long way since using the weekly Trading Post (well that was what we had in Sydney in the 80's) to sell or buy a vehicle.
    Nunc est bibendum...
