Speaking from a little bit of experience I went to look at a van in Caboolture a couple of months ago and the tags were gone, I asked the seller and apparently they were stolen, long ago.

I said well you know, how do I know what the story is with this vehicle without them and HEY PRESTO I got a call the next day to say they had magically appeared!

So yes, I am a tad distrustful lmao
Exactly and what else was the seller hiding? You'd have to wonder!

Any genuine seller worth their salt would be more than happy to provide whatever photos/info needed to ensure a sale at their asking price. In this day an age of electronic media it is only too easy to provide detailed (a decent size and in focus is also a winner!) photographic information for a prospective buyer. Life has come a long way since using the weekly Trading Post (well that was what we had in Sydney in the 80's) to sell or buy a vehicle.
