Remember the gunmetal grey HQ Sandman Ute on gumtree earlier this year? It was for sale at about $30K from memory so if this tribute van sale goes through it makes the genuine ute very good value in my view. The ute was XX7 stamped Acacia Ridge built, L31 M21 from memory and had a full resto (apart from not being completely original in a few respects). If only my tatts numbers had come through...

don't take things on face value. I got loads of detailed pics of that HQ ute and it had some seriously shitty rust repairs and paint work... Basically it needed panel and paint all over again. So $30k wasnt so cheap after all
