I have begun sussing out the rust in the seams with a small sandblaster and wire wheel. Beer seems to be topical at the moment so I've had to drink a lot to get some cardboard to protect the windows. So far I'm surprised by how little rust I,ve encountered. I also have a retired panelbeater living next door who has become an interested consultant. There are a few layers of paint on the Van.

There's only two places to be done and my neighbour said he would love to have a crack at it. The other side is good - and then we have the beer.
