I don't hate Fords I just prefer Holden's. That said it's not true of every model. It's a nice gesture and will likely be well received.
The disappointing thing is, they will likely sell the BF GT to buy a nice shiny new battery powered Kia each.

My neighbours mate has a BA GT amongst other GTs and various other cars with a few thousands kilometres and also has all brand new FORD panels for the BA as well now that's dedication, shame he has no kids to leave all his toys too. Hope your kids really appreciate the car in 30 years time.

I guess only time will tell, if you want something then buy it, if some one wants to pay a million bucks for something they find rare or unique then let them?

I think if Byron can convince the masses that Holden Special Vehicles aren't Holdens he should try selling ice to the Eskimos next, saying that half the original parts have been replaced shouldn't make a difference isn't that like saying to someone that has a fully modified EH with V8 etc that it is no longer a Holden EH if half of the original parts have been replaced?

HSV owned by Holden ? Is this a fact ?

Holden Special Vehicles is the officially designated performance vehicle partner of Australian automobile manufacturer Holden. Established in 1987 and based in Clayton, Victoria, the company modifies Holden models such as the Commodore, Caprice and Ute and markets them under the HSV brandname

HSV was created in 1987 as a joint venture between Holden and Tom Walkinshaw Racing – an operation owned by Scottish racing car driver and entrepreneur Tom Walkinshaw. HSV effectively replaced the Holden Dealer Team (HDT) special vehicles operation run by Peter Brock, after Holden severed its ties with HDT in February 1987 following the "Energy Polarizer" and "HDT Director" controversies. With the more recent demise of TWR's global companies, HSV still remains a partnership between Holden and Walkinshaw, the joint ownership company being Premoso Pty Ltd.

'Holden" Special Vehicle's are holden's, no argument. They are serviced by Holden people, and they are sold by Holden salesman. Not all Holden dealer's sell them , but most do. If you need a body part, door's, guard's, bonnet etc, hey, you can order them at any Holden dealer in the country.
