It has to be older than 1916 and possibly as old as 1885. My guess is around the 1910-16 mark but is purely a guess. I say this because I feel it was for use in auto upholstery.

that would be interesting, there was a Holden dealer near my high school(in the 70s)and me and my mates went and collected sales brochures at lunch time, and for some reason i kept all mine i even have brochures for the LE monaro

We used to do the same and they had a loop of film and for some strange reason all I can remember of it was the " Sandpiper " Gemini ad!
