    Probably leave the paint ratty,still not sure if I will keep it yet but I will get it on the road and get some use out of it first

    Nice, love these old school vans, they are from a bygone era we won't see again. So did I get it right that this one has the L34 spec engine or another one?

    When the carpet was pulled out I found this behind the seat and cleaned it up, anyone know if its a factory thing or added at some point



    And put a gts wheel on for a look

    it looks like the same material as the HQ (& other?) Monaro / Premier / Statesman spare wheel cover.

    No it just has a 253 but now you have me thinking,a ratty looking van with a mint engine bay with a tough motor

    It must be there to hide the bare floor behind the console on a HQ Sandman or on a column shift bucket seat HQ commercial (these have a seat separator). Has anyone here ever found a HQ bench seat floor shift manual ute or van? Just wondering what they put in between the seats (these have no seat separator).

    This van had a bench seat from factory 253 three spd manual
