I'll let you know when they are running here. Shouldn't take long to get here in the GTR (assuming you fixed it)

Let me know craig and i will come down for the weekend on a friday arvo if thats ok with you
will bring my fishing gear and my 4WD just in case
Wrong not fixed yet but that would be a great run in the torrie
Anyway, no updates yet, as the van is still sitting in the scrub. I am currently putting a roller door on the back of my garage (for backyard access) so I can have somewhere to put it.
I am also on the lookout for 4 standard steel wheels and a steering wheel so when I go to pick it up I just put the wheels on, and up onto the trailer. The current set up on it I doubt would hold air.
Because we all like pictures, here's some more.
These show the worst parts where some one has already had a go at repairing some rust.
you'd be surprised what will hold air...... Rodney, myself and Dean (Qset) picked up a couple of HQ's last weekend that had been sitting for many many years on a property and several of the tyres were split to almost shreaded, both Rod and I had on board compressors and we pumped all eight tyres up and rolled both cars onto the trailers.

Thanks Absinth, good to know. I will have access to a compressor when I pick it up as well.
Might just narrow my search to a steering wheel.
G'day gngbng , can't wait to see your progress . To find a v8 windowless van with minimal rust is like finding gold .
I feel a bit shameful posting this, but I still haven't picked this van up!!!
Good news is, I'm going out to get it on Monday, will be interesting to see what 2 years has done to it.
Shame on me, but as you all know, life gets in the way.
Another query, will a set of 15" steelies off a VY commodore bolt on, for transport purposes?
Sort of. Just don't drive it with them on.
