Got the Van home yesterday finally.
It hadn't changed much over the 2 years except for both side mirrors smashed and a tail light smashed. Somehow a V8 radiator also found its way back into the engine bay??? bonus.
Gave the van a wash and put it in the shed. Now to drink beer and look at and contemplate its future.
Does anyone know what the yellow heads may be?

Could be Yella Terra or could be just painted yellow. Not all Yella Terra heads were yellow anyway. You would need someone who knows to look at them with the manifolds pulled off.

Just realised its a 253. If they are big valve and ported heads they will most likely be too much for it. Good to have though for a 308 if they are.

Nice one, coming up well. Bet you're glad you finally got it home. What was the story there? Did you have it at a mate's place?

Edit; just read page 1, must have missed that page when I read the thread the other day.

Amazing what a bit of polish and elbow grease will do on acrylic paint. A few cans of vinyl cleaner and lots of scrubbing will have that headlining looking good as well. Looking good GB, can't believe it took you 2 years to pick it up, I couldn't have waited that long.
