    Insurance companies won't allow that imagine the money they would miss out on when a person owns two or more cars. It is the best idea though when you drive a car it is you who is covered not who owns it ,ie work , friend ,etc .that way you as a good driver will be rewarded over the years , not each vehicle regoed in your name for more than $ 500 each car( in nsw anyway) . Had a friend complain about rego in Vic for $600 i said how much for green slip he said what's that , $600 covers the lot for the year he near fell over when I said add another $5-600 for our( nsw) green slip ,and that was his hk 327 Monaro, so it was an old car, newer cars maybe cheaper.
