The DRIVER is the risk. Not the car. The driver should have the third party personal insurance. Not the car.
I agree with your theory WB, but can I put this senario to you. Let's say you are an insurance company and I come to you to insure a 2002 basic commodore worth $5000 with me as the only driver and you quote me X. Then I ask for a quote to insure a new BMW worth $70,000. Will the X still be the same with me as the only driver as well ?
