Coincidently I am taking my boys up there tomorrow because it's school holidays. It's a fantastic place to visit.

Blocker While you are there, see if they'll lift the bonnet on the WA Kingswood sedan there. I'd love to see if it has ID plates on it, and what is on them. See if you can get a photo of the BODY plate of Brock's VB rally car too! I couldn't get either when I was there last year.

Its a great place to go! I go every time I get over to adel. Awsome place.

The stripes on that van dip off a little too much at the front from what I see.....

That sandman has been there for years!! sadly i dont think its a genuine. there used to be a great ht old show van there with a airbrushing of a train on the side. it was called the 'midnight express'

This is a pic i found on the net. Anyone know if its still there i wouldn't mind going up and having a close look at it. i know the guy that did the body work and the base paint job.

I took this in April 2009. Shows both vans:

This is the WA Kingswood I was talking about:

Look closer.....It is a HJ-HZ Statesman body with a WB style nose, this is why I was interested to see if it has a VIN plate and when it was built. My guess is it is a HJ body, possibly built prior to HJ release. It was the WA Kingswood prototype.

    Good new + Bad news.

    HX Van plates;
    VIN - 8M70RGL364294X
    10/76 - 1950kg - SC 2
    Body - 214542-A
    Trim - 1890-65A
    Paint - 568 15953
    L32 M20 GV7

This van is owned by the museum so they had immediate access (crawled through the tail gate).

    Bad news.
All keys for cars are stored in a secure area, and prior arrangement needs to be gained to access cars. The WB Kingswood proto and the Brock rally are both owned by GMH and they were locked.

    More good news.
Email the museum and request the info you need, on those cars and they will send it to you. (the info, not the cars).
