Great story , I bet you would really be kicking yourself if it had been an original Sandman van or ute barn find

The best Sandmans i've ever come across were both out in the weather. Buickzz's HQ was at a wrecking yard exposed to the elements and Hainzy's sitting behind an old hay shed. Both had been stripped to donate to utes or tonners. I also found a HT GTS350 and a HG GTS350 side by side stripped of all bits that were put on utes and vans, again neglected out in the weather. Never found a good car in a barn!

Actually it's a garage find and last time I looked America wasn't spelled T.O.O.W.O.O.M.B.A.

True. Shame it wasn't a Sandman pick up the guys had in that barn. Would have been better than a fanny pack full of dimes.

But that's just being pedantic. We should use more American terms.

Always crack a smile when US based TV uses terms like "A swift kick in the fanny" or "I'm rooting for you all".

You used the word pedantic incorrectly, on this occasion. Pedantic means,

1.Like a pedant, overly concerned with formal rules and trivial points of learning.
2.Being showy of one’s knowledge, often in a boring manner.
3.Being finicky or fastidious, especially with language

What you were using was sarcasm, angers ugly cousin lol, I was being pedantic in my need to illustrate an example ,just helping out, nice FJ ute though be it found in a barn, shed, garage or manger wouldn't you agree?

    Cheers
