Haha, looks like i'm going to get some flak for letting the missus anywhere near the project....but as they say, happy wife=happy life. Anyway, it was originally her idea to push me to do the project, so to spark more general laughter, here's a list of her van demands.

    1. Blown engine is approved however the blower must be under the bonnet.
    2. Van must be windowless.
    3. Interior trim must be comprised of modern materials with no shag pile allowed
    4. Holden's original interior trim colour (brown/tan?) is banned
    5. No stripper pole allowed
    6. No fully naked girls on any external murals

That's about it, now let the abuse begin!

    +1

And that's a fair list considering it's from the other half.

Yeah i reckon its fairly good. I agree on most things as that's the way i was going but i'm a little bit torn with the hidden blower. One part of me says any blown V8 should have a mountain of violent and malevolent metal hanging out of the bonnet but the other half is happy just to hear the rotor noise coming from under the bonnet.

Any opinions? Blowers in or out....or maybe not at all? Should this be a separate post?

it depends on how strict they are down your way. Put VN heads on then buy a Max wedge manifold. You can get the charger under the bonnet, the manifold comes with injector ports in it as we'll. I'm very much looking at this option myself. I absolutely love super chargers. They make the world go round.

Things seem not too bad down here, I remember when i lived in WA, blowers were banned anywhere near the road. You mention VN heads, what's the advantage?

Hi mate, all the above information is correct and applicable. But the only reason I said VN heads is because these are the only heads he makes the blower manifold to suit. Not red or Blue heads. Which is the reason why I have still held off buying one. I badly want one but is more then a manifold change now. You have to change cam, lifters Extractors and Heads. Goes from $1200 to $5000 real quick. Reason why he don't make them for early heads " I just don't".
