    A little more metal goes in , starting to get a little more exciting , still a way to go , but I think the worst of it is nearly over .

    Great work on the van. Mine is just finishing the panel beater part, so your progress shots feel very familiar. One thing i was glad of, was letting the panel shop de-skin my doors and then re-skinning them. The doors looked ok to me and i was reluctant to spend the extra dollars, but when they did it, we found some hidden rust around where the lower skins folded around the door frames. Not sure if its a consideration for your van?

    Actually, i just looked closer at your pics and can see that one of your doors needs the lower skin treatment, so forget my suggestion above, its a moot point.

    Thanks for the advice , she's a long haul , I can't wait to see the last of the rust , get it painted and drench it in fish oil .

    Sorry guys , Im having trouble with photo's upside down , not too computer savvy !! anyhow gutters finished and interior of back of van nearing a coat of vynacote grey which will be exciting!! will post more photo's once I work out what I'm doing wrong , my apologies .

    interior painted , no luck with vynacote grey but happy with how it turned up . Still having problem with upside down photo's .

    i can see why the 'unfinished project' has become an aussie custom. there is soooooooooooooooo much work involved in restoring cars! very well done. looks awesome!
