Hq looms

I bought some new looms for my HZ off a guy on ebay and was very happy with his work, I send him a message about loom (engine & light) recently for my HQ resto this was his reply.

Hi we make them to order as there a few ways we can make them eg do you need wires for a washer bottle or will you be using the wiper motor? is the wiper wires with engine or the headlight side of the loom? if you need the parkers in the head lights we will need your old headlight plastic plugs. if not we will use the newer H4 plugs for the headlights these will fit the std lights. it will take about a week to 2 to make it. thanks steve

I fine it a bit confusing and have asked him if there were different looms for the HQ but am yet to get a reply can anybody on here have knowledge in regards to their being different loom etc

Absolutely there are different looms for HQ. Being a Sandman it has to be 1974 and thus the parkers are in the headlights because by this time the front indicators were amber.
Some wiper motors had a pump on them for the washer bottle while others needs wires for the electric motor on the base of the washer bottle.

What he is getting at is HQ had the washer pump on the wiper motor, but if you are using a HX-WB style wiper motor with a washer at the bottle he can put wires in the loom so it works without having extra wires run there.
There are 2 x different HQ headlamps styles, prior to later in 1972 the blinkers were the parkers but later on they had a little globe behind a hole in the mirror at the back of the headlamp.

Ok so the correct wiper motor would be the one with the pump on it for HQ, I do actually like the look of the clear indicators to the amber but its not correct I know for the 74
