You have it nailed. Camera on the M4 going into Sydney. Been there for at least ten years. Traffic slows to 100 at it. Then accelerates back to 110. What is the point accept to catch the dumb ones?

If these speed cameras are so good at reducing the road toll then we need more. Lots more. Make them a franchise. I'll take 2. Put Them everywhere. Nobody will ever speed again? Nobody will ever get hurt? Truth is the only safe speed is Okm/hr. the moment a car moves we have a problem.
In recent years they changed the Northern territory to have a open road speed limit for the first time. The road went up in the first year.
