Ive been thrashing around in all manner of vehicles from 12 second street cars to 4 wheel drum brake station wagons since 87 and never had an accident .
Not because I drive like a pussy but because I make a point of being on the game Knowing where im going and driving in a manner that tells other drivers what Im about to do.
I once had a discussion with an accident prone driver and they refused to accept any responsibility for constantly being hit from behind on the drivers side when turning left. This person was obviously driving in a way that created a hazard for other road users .
Yes cars are safer but drivers are not
