assuming you buy it and restore it... the way i look at it is if you were a buyer would you be happy paying $40,000 for a 'Sandman' if the only thing you can hang your hat on are some internal welded on brackets and strips?

wait for a good brissy XX7 stamp or HX M70 with 18V. That way there's no uncertainty
