GTS Mirrors

Gday guys
Quick question one of my GTS mirrors has pitting on the chrome stem is there a way of reconditioning them
i was thinking of pulling them apart and sand blasting them and getting them rechromed
is it viable to do this
any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a spare right hand chrome stem. (Original) it's all yours.

You wouldnt believe it craig i got 3 drivers side mirrors all pitted but no passenger side got burnt in a fire (long story)
maybe i could tell you over a few beers in busso just about got the torana back on the road might have to pack my bags and come down for a weekend real soon

Your welcome Gene. I like that story Vombil. One of our forum members recently got a quote for $52000 for panle and paint for his Sandman. Sounds like a bargain to me

I hope they came with the rest of an injection system, all plumbed in and turn key!
