I had the same issue when I sold my sandman. The guy took a couple of weeks to pick it up and I was dying to get into my VH EFI conversion... I had my donor VN out in the street and a torana in the spare spot. 2 weeks of my time on leave was wasted. Ah well. He got it eventually.
