    The rear bumper is gooooone, have some small ones to put back on, the roof rack is only sitting there to get it out of the way, it had a smaller one on it before but probably won't put one back on.

    Apparently it was originally a Sandman, put the numbers up on the "Is this a Sandman" thread and Stickthis replied it was 99% a Sandman, the owner before me back in the 80's said he hit a roo going across the Nullabor and put the twin headlight front on instead of the single one, it was (will be) a 308 m21.

    was given a couple of pictures of the van at a show about '81 by Greg Mercer, he built a show van called Invader 2001

    I know it's not everyones taste but i reckon it doesn't look too bad, it's not how it will be restored but was good for it's time.

    Yep, i smiled for two days after seeing the pictures, might even get motivated again (when the bloody bathrooms finished, getting tiled today lol.)

    The van looked great in the pic's as invader, nothing wrong with that.

    that must have been one of the first custom vans to use a "tribal" type paint scheme..very nice...

    This van wasn't invader but i believe invader was a Sandman originally
