    The easiest thing to do is put it in the top radiator hose . It should have come with a small bit of rubber that the capillary sits in when the bulb is inserted into the top hose. it goes between the hose and the thermostat outlet or the radiator outlet. Also use a bit of silicone to seal it.
    The other alternative is to use an electrical gauge. I say this because the adaptor you need may not exist.
