    I have seen a lot of ordinary work done on cars by do it yourselfers. My problem is I'm a builder and I was bought up with a carpenter doing the carpentry, a plumber doing the plumbing, a tiler doing the tiling, an electrition doing the electrical, etc etc. I only do what I'm qualified and licenced to do. How does this theory work in the car restoration business?
    Not after an argument, just interested in some thoughts. After all they do end up on the road.

    A lot of the time the basics can be done by owners or as some of us do barter the work I'm a mechanic so I do jobs for mates who panel beat or paint because it's so dear do just pay
