HJ - WB air vents with carbon fibre vanes

    Hi All

I've just started sorting out the air vents on my dash and after getting them apart, i mucked about with 3M Vinyl Wrap to see if a bit of texture enhances their appearance. I did the vanes on half a vent to see the difference. Any thoughts?

Thanks Jennie285. Given the heritage of your vans, I'm not surprised you're a fan of original. When I chose to install the WB Caprice dash in my van, I realised its quite devoid of classic sports style (a la GTS dash) so just looking for some colour and texture idea's to freshen it up. I think it might work. Cheers

Would work if your dash fascia has the same wrap

    Otherwise black is best

Bit of an update. The vents came up well.

Yes agreed. I picked up another facia with all of its mounting lugs intact and will give it a wrap. Will also look at the console face but don't want to go too far with the carbon fibre look. Cheers

If you do the insert sections that are normally silver or woodgrain then the carbon will look great, (certainly better than woodgrain anyway!)

You are really onto something here....
