Cool! I'm interested in these, seen em before on ebay (US) and they have come up before about half a year back.

I'm interested to know what they can sound like. Bearing they are replacing an old Rola-Plessy, and that mostly people would just connect the old radio up, is not a test, but that baffle looks good to me, I wonder has anyone got one of these running with decent headset?

How are you hooking yours up Indy?

Looking at the design of these, I think there is a chance they might sound Ok, I'm curious bout these. In a previous thread, the last comment said something like 'no speaker can sound good without a decent sound box'... well actually thats both true and untrue.

All loudspeakers of course used to need a decent baffle, in the 80's and 90's this was usually handled by the enclosure (or sound box) but modern tech on loudspeaker design has produced some pretty awesome sounding devices without this. (Not Hi Fi, but closer than one would have imagined) I have wondered, if the idea with these is that the mount to the metal behind the dashboard could create a soundboard.

Anyways, great choice, how does it sound?
