here's one for ya gene

im not good with toranas (i actually hate them to bits) but here goes

a9x or gtr shows up at the auctions somewhere between 1999 and 2001 - purple with chamois interior. owned by a holden dealership owner from the north-west since new... had 300 genuine KMS! sold for $24,000 to one of the staff there. apparently this bloke had a bit of foresight and bought heaps of old cars. imagine what that torrie is worth now!

or this one.... bloke takes his white SLR5000 to dealership to trade on a new mitsubishi turbo... they offer him $2,500. salesman asks to drive it and the seller hears the rubble as the salesman flogs it down the road. purchaser renegs on the deal. still has it tucked away in the shed. paid $4,200 for it when he was 24. i like stories like this. i'd get bored and move it along
