Fresh Chrome yellow paint?

Hi there, anyone got some pics of a van or ute freshly painted in chrome yellow? Can't' seem to find any decent pics and i reckon yellows searched with google labelled "chrome yellow" aren't necessarily the right yellow.

Yeah I knew it wasn't your van, looks original though, I have seen Ozboxs van in the flesh restored friend of Jenny & Rods at Orange, the van above is a way better looking van and appears to have Vic registration plates on it, must have been a popular colour the chrome yellow in the HQ vans

That's a bit disappointing to hear. I thought I heard it was a no expense build. Being a Vic van, I haven't seen it aaround at any shows...but will def keep an eye out.

Pretty sure Byron said chrome yellow was by far the most recorded colour for HQ Sandmans....can't remember what come 2nd.

I saw it a couple of years ago at the Geelong car show. From memory it is a genuine Sandman L31 M21 car. The Kingswood door trims, carpet and Sandman sticker on the tailgate disappointed me but it was a nicely restored van.

The poor quality Rare Spares shifter surround and console lid is also something that stands out like dog balls to me, a damn shame Rares won't do anything to fix them.

I think if i see another hq sandman without the correct grille colour, i will seriously lose my sh!t.......why does just about everyone miss this item????
