Well, I lived through it all!!!!

Thanks everyone for your kind wishes and stories.

The operation went really well and I'm now looking forward to a long recovery period that should take 4 to 6 months in total.

I felt pretty good this morning when the doctor came to my room with a big smile on his face and just said "It's rock-solid now Rob". I've got some carbon/Kevlar twine (rope? string?) and a couple of titanium screws holding it all together and the X-Rays show my shoulder joint is now (after 14 months) back where it should be.

Pain isn't too bad considering the drugs I'm on.

Gotta stop typing... hand is going numb!
