Shoulder surgery...

All operations are a risk.... Last time I was in hospital they killed me!!!! Seriously, I died on the table, was clinically dead for 5 minutes, took them 4hrs to get me stable and I woke up in intensive care... Was a simple cartilage op on my left knee. Turned out I am severely allergic to anaesthetics.

Hellava way to find that out Abs! So what happens if you need some other operation, is there an alternate type of anesthetic they can use?

Ivan I still wonder what my folks thought of me when (recovering from a knee reconstruction in 1990 after coming off my roadbike in a big way) while lying in hospital doped to the gills on pethedine I was watching ceiling tiles detatch themselves and move
/swap positions with other ceiling tiles.... Seemed real to me at the time!
