    Microfilm and 35mm film scanning

I bought a used Canon MS-400 film scanner today. Will be picking it up Saturday, and will know exactly what it has in it.

I think I need an original SCSI card for it, was an optional kit MG1-2583 that had the card and a cable. Just hook it up to a Windows 2000 or XP machine and I have the TWAIN and ISIS drivers for it, just have to work out how to access it from the PC. Hopefully it has the SCSI card in it, and I just have to by an ISA SCSI PC card for an old XP PC I have here.

However if it doesn't have the card i'll be on the lookout for another old machine to get the card and cable off it, if anyone knows where one is. Often they have a dumb Canon Fileprint400 or 280 laser printer attached to them. Here is a photo of one:

I'm pretty sure I have a SCSI card in the box for a Windows 8/Me. Whether it is suitable for your requirements I don't know?

I'll let you know what I need when I get the machine here and suss it out. I'm pretty sure all I need is a SCSI-II PC card, just have to pull the old PC apart and see what slots it has, most likely ISA.
