    Bugger, is there a difference in a roller engine and non roller engine thrust plate thickness.

    Dunno. The shop tested my thrust plate in another 2 x cams (Crane) off the shelf this arvo and it wouldn't fit them either. This is a thrust plate from a VR SII 304 and its about 300000 km old. If anything it should be thinner than when it was new, yet it was too fat for the new cams. Funny thing is that it fitted the old Holden cam perfectly. Its a mystery...
