This one looks interesting but a couple of things seem off. 10/74 Build? would be very early HJ?and says 3 speed manual.

Really need to check out the tags to be sure on this one. Looks nice as is tho![]()
10/74 is fine. There are 8/74 and 9/74 HJ's around. Bucket loads of 9/74 and 10/74 examples, as is always the case at the start of production of a new series.
Look like it's been reposted with more pics, including all three tags.
linky here
Full matching numbers...
308 single rail?
Engine numbers don't match anything on these anyway, so matching numbers basically means that the plates all belong together and the chassis has the correct number stamped on it to match those plates.
Playwme you can still match the engine number to a HJ but just not via the tags, so it could all be matching!
Hmmmm, good point that! Sorry I missed that.
A nice ute to look at from the outside but for those who would take it back to standard you'd need to spend up big. The statesman front, interior has been completely changed from 64V (gazelle), no pic of the dash - has it been sprayed black or replaced with an 18V unit? It is an early Melbourne HJ build yet no sign of black firewall and (genuine question) why isn't the body plate painted?
Nice cruiser.
