Very rare Sandman 'Papaya' colour with genuine factory sandman full-length hood lining.

This colour was only available by special order on vehicles other than
    panelvans and sandmans.
You really have to wonder where people get some of their information. Papaya was available on all HX panelvan's, HX ute's, ?? Gemini's and LX Torana's.

Nice original van but overpriced for what it is..... Maybe if it was a V8 4sp 2 seater.....

maybe not as rare as much as uncommon or not as popular at the time. But you surely don't see the colour often.
Its a lovely neat kingwood though and if its a one/two owner someone might be tempted without knowing there stuff.

Actually it is not an uncommon colour, there were a lot of Papaya coloured utes and vans around in the late 70's.
Three days ago a Papaya HX Holden ute was stopped at the lights next to me, it was a pretty beat up Tradies car but also fairly original and there is a Papaya van running around out Ipswich way which I have seen several times.
