Tags were originally on a Sandman. Relatively early HZ too. Windsor Blue with Buckskin trim. Not bad, my mate has a 1939 XX7 but his has 23C trim and it is way too much blue! Would have been better with 18, 63 or 67 trim but when he bought it new they were impossible to buy and you took what you could find.

Hard to see on the iphone but may have a Taiwanese nose panel on it.

That is quite a bit of cash for a 253 low spec HZ Sandman. As Byron points out it is a Taiwanese aftermarket nose panel. Cargo area has the wrong paint. Has no wiper arms and the console lid appears to be missing. If it's the colour combination of your dreams and your happy with the price then check it out very well for rust. Always worries me when I see incomplete cars for sale at huge prices.

Overall it's a pretty looking Sandman that needs better investigation followed by major negotiation.

If this is what I think it is, it's from orange. Yes Taiwanese if it's the one I know as my grill wouldn't fit. I can tell you about it. It's had a full resto. What are they asking for it.? It's also acrylic paint. It came from Quilpi outback qld so no rust.

I'd give it a solid 80%+ chance of being a Sandman. being a Feb-Mar '75 compliance unfortunately metallic paint or GVW won't help. Tags are no use except you can rule a car out if it is say a 3spd or 3 seater. But nothing on yours says it isn't a Sandman. Being 308 4spd and metallic you have a good chance though. Note most HJ Sandman utes were Kingswood luxury level.

Prob not as it's a kingswood. Hjwn80 is kingwood hj8wm80 can mean sandman N kings wood M is Holden or Belmont body, (base model) as sandmans were based on belmonts Hk may verify as could be different for hj as some kings woods were sandmans

Jennie i was under the impression that in the HJ it could be a sandman with a kingswood body, it was HX onward that it could not.
