I can see why you might think it was being a late HZ, looks to be Atlantic Blue metallic, 253 and 2 seater. Will have had a full headlining too. But alas it is a Kingswood.
I'm still kicking myself selling my HZ, I so wish I still had it.

One will come up, HZ's are relatively common in good condition and are no longer the most expensive. You'll buy a half decent car with varying amount of work required between $15k-$25k.
Looks like I've hooked my self one, am going to check it out on Friday.

pretty toppy mate. at the risk of being shit canned for my honesty can I suggest you have a good look at the quality of the panel and paint work if it's the one i'm thinking of.

You don't need the VIN, you can work it out from the body tag:

Tags were originally on a Sandman. Relatively early HZ too. Windsor Blue with Buckskin trim. Not bad, my mate has a 1939 XX7 but his has 23C trim and it is way too much blue! Would have been better with 18, 63 or 67 trim but when he bought it new they were impossible to buy and you took what you could find.
Hard to see on the iphone but may have a Taiwanese nose panel on it.
